Sweet and Salty Glazed Almonds

Method

1. 1Heat a dry frying pan over medium heat, add the almonds, and toast for 3–4 minutes until fragrant and lightly colored.
2. 2In a small ramekin, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil until smooth.
3. 3Turn heat to medium-low, pour the sauce into the pan with almonds, and stir constantly for 2–3 minutes until the liquid thickens and coats the nuts.
4. 4Stir in sesame seeds and chili flakes, then transfer the almonds onto parchment paper and spread them apart to cool completely.
